I have bought this hoya a couple of times. The first time was in
July 2007, but it never survived. I was told by others that this was
a fuzzy hoya and it wasn't until May 2011 that I bought it again and
from the same place, i e Liddles in Australia. The cutting that
arrived was as generous as the previous one and I cut it up in two
pieces just like last time, but this time the result was
different... it survived and in six months it has grown quite well.
Ever since I got it I've had it in our bright north window where I
plan to gather all my variegated hoyas... |
|
The leaves are
quite shiny and the white vary just like on other variegated hoyas
and can be anything from very little white in the middle to leaving
just a green edge of the leaves. A gorgeous hoya! The leaves on my
plant are 6-12 cm long and 3-6 cm wide. |
|
My cutting came
with a peduncle and it hasn't fallen off so perhaps I'll get to see
flowers in a not too distant future... From photos on the internet
the flowers look white with a bit of green/brown tips, but I'm
hoping to show some flowers here soon. |
