I bought this hoya as a rooted cutting in May 2004 from Botanova in northern Sweden. I kind of like the white flowering hoyas and especially the white shiny flowers on this hoya so I just had to have it! I've read that it takes a while before it flowers, but I'm a patient person... Perhaps I don't need to be so patient after all - I found a peduncle at the beginning of April 2005. After that it developed another peduncle and bloomed for the first time at the beginning of May 2006. The flowers were quite nice but the fragrance was anything but nice!

This was one of the many hoyas I sold before moving to an apartment in 2008, but I don't feel I have to get another one. However, I did buy a Hoya aff. arnottiana IML 1367 from Australia and this has much larger leaves than my old arnottiana had and the foliage is really nice!
