Hoya cardiophylla

  

 

I bought this hoya as a rooted cutting in January 2003 and I can't say I liked it at first! It grew slow, the leaves became pale in the sun... I gave it a shadier place and it didn't take long before it "thanked" me by starting to grow and last fall (September 2005) it flowered for the first time and more flowers seem to develop now and then. Some say this is Hoya incrassata, but  I will keep cardiopylla on this page. This djungle of hoyanames!!!
