I bought this
hoya as an unrooted cutting in September 2008. I just fell head over
heals in love with the leaves! They are absolutely gorgeous, even
more so when the plant gets lots of sunshine. Then the foliage turns
red... I had my plant on a stand at first, but I've recently changed
it to a hanging pot. This hoya doesn't climb on its own, so I would
say it's best grown hanging. |

Since I got the cutting I've cut it
several times to get a fuller pot... The flowers are a lot like the
ones on sp. Biak, but the corona has more red in the center. This
hoya bloomed a lot faster than my sp. Biak. On IR 26 I got to see
the flowers for the first time in November 2010 and it has bloomed a
few times since then. A nice hoya that doesn't take up too much
space too fast! |
