Hoya danumensis

I bought this hoya as a rooted cutting in September 2002. It was then called wallichii. I had always thought this hoya would be difficult to grow, but it turned out I was wrong. It grows rather fast, seems to grow in spurts and it flowered the first time in September 2003 - one year after I got it. It has flowered several times since then, but sometimes the buds only open up a little and then shrivel up and fall off. I think this is due to uneven watering... It often flowers with more than one umbel at the same time, so some bud loss is not a big problem... This is definately one of my favourite hoyas!

I ended up selling my plant before I moved to my apartment in 2008. I just had to reduce the number of hoyas. In 2009 I got a new cutting, but with moving and stuff it ended up dying... then in 2011 I got a new cutting in a trade I made, but to be honest I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS HOYA IS. I know it had bigger leaves than my two previous plants, but at the moment I can't remember where it is. I'm sure it's in the hoya room somewhere or it might have died and I just didn't make a note of it...
