I bought this
as a small 1-node unrooted cutting in April 2012. The person who sold it
to me said it had much nicer leaves than the ordinary lobbii and
that it also was a fast bloomer. I was quite happy that it would
have nicer leaves and the cutting sure did! These leaves are much
wider and have more silvery flecks. |

The cutting rooted fast, but it
took a while before it started growing. I guess that doesn't matter
much when it turned out to be a fast bloomer? My plant is only 4
nodes high and it's blooming for the first time now in September
2012. The colours are wonderful, but the smell isn't very pleasant.
It reminds of the smell when you open a package of bacon, but it's
very weak so it's not a "problem". |
