Hoya pachyclada
comes from Thailand, was described in 1939 by Kerr and Hoya
loyceandrewsiana comes from Indonesia, was described in 1994 by
Green. I've found information that loyceandrewsiana is the same hoya
as latifolia and somewhere else I read this was wrong... |
|
This hoya is a hybrid, a cross which
I know very little about... When you look at the shape of the leaves
they look mostly like pachyclada, but for the "looks" more like
loyceandrewsiana. The size of the leaves is definately more like
pachyclada, about 6-9 cm long and 3-5 cm wide. The leaves get some
flecks and get quite stiff and thick as they mature. |
|
I can't find any information about the
flowers, so I guess it's just wait and see... However, considering how
slowly my little plant grows I'm guessing it'll be a loooooong wait! |
