Hoya samoensis Seemann

This hoya comes from Samoa and it was described in 1866.

The leaves are very shiny, light green with lighter veins and the edges are a little curved. This hoya grows quite fast and the foliage is very nice if not grown in too strong sunlight. The leaves are 6-12 cm long and 2.5-5 cm wide.

The reflexed flowers have yellow/green corolla and the corona is white with a yellow/orange center. They are about 1 cm and you'll find only a few flowers in an umbel. The flowers have no fragrance and they last about 4-5 days.
