I got this hoya as an unrooted cutting in November 2005. The person who gave it to me said it was a much nicer Hoya diptera, but this variety was recently (in 2006) published as Hoya vanuatuensis. My plant has gotten quite big and it really is much more beautiful than the "normal" diptera... The first flowers showed up in April 2008 and then a few times after that...

Due to lack of space I cut down my big plant and made a smaller hanging plant of it and it actually seems to like it, but it sends our long leafless vines here and there (as can be seen on the last photo below) which I have to wrap in. I'm looking forward to see if it'll bloom also as a hanging plant in a sunny eastern window.
