I bought this
hoya as a rather large plant in September 2002. I actually bought it in
a building supply store! It was wrapped around a rusty small support and
I spent quite some time untangling the vines and re-wrapped them on
another support. Looked much better and no more rust! |

This is truly a
hoya that grows fast and flowers often. It didn't have any buds when I
bought it but it didn't take long before it bloomed. It bloomed
constantly and the kitchen is often filled with this sweet caramel
fragrance. Not only from this hoya, though... |

I saved a few
cuttings when moving to my apartment in June 2008 and thesa have now
grown quite well and I've taken more cuttings and put in with the
rest when I've repotted it the past few years after moving to the
new house in November 2009. This hoya is nice on a support, but now
I grow it as a hanging plant and I guess that's the way it should
grow to flourish the best. |
