I got this hoya
as an unrooted cutting in April 2005. I was able to cut it up into three
cuttings and I potted them together to get a bigger plant faster...
Well, it didn't take long before I could cut the three cuttings into
three more and then again... Today it's a rather big hanging plant
and I've cut off the vines that get too long. At first I grew mine in a south
facing window without protection from the sun and the foliage turned
almost completely red, but after I moved in June 2008 I placed it in
a window with afternoon/evening sun and it's still a nice red, but
not at all the same as when in a south window... |

It bloomed for
the first time in May 2007 and since then it has bloomed a lot! I
can easily say it's one of my absolute favourite hoyas when it comes
to blooming. |
